"I JUST CAN'T..."
Have you ever used those words?
"I just can't..." You fill in the blank.
Finish this workout
Push any harder
"I just can't get better, stronger, faster, leaner..."
AHHH cut it out.
Because you CAN.
The world has changed today and it happened was something that most thought couldn't happen...
Imagine running running ONE mile in 4minutes and 41seconds...
Wait I can't even do that. How about a sub-5 minute mile.
Again FAST. It is still beyond my ability. What if I told you some one would average that pace for 5 miles, 10? How about a half marathon,13.1miles? NO Make it 26.2.
For twenty six point two miles Geoffrey Mutai averaged a 4:41 pace at the Boston Marathon this morning.
Since we are trying to put this into perspective lets look at the course. Boston is not known to be a fast course. Boston is a difficult course, no one would have ever expected to run a world record there.
Well maybe no one except Geoffrey Mutai. Prior to 1954 most of the world thought a sub 4 minute mile was impossible.
So what does this mean for you? I tell you it's all in your head. Your mind set is what is holding you back. If you keep telling yourself you can't, you don't have time, my body is different, you don't understand... Then you are only lying to your self.
If I had a penny for every time someone came to me and laid one of those lines out. It's all in your head. If you're making excuses, you don't want it bad enough. If your making excuses, you may just be looking for attention. If your making excuses as to why you can't succeed then your right.
Whether you think you can or you think you can't every single time you will be right.
Fix your mind set from "can't" to "CAN" and see what happens!
I dare you!
