A Week You Can't Afford To Miss

I am super excited about this Recovery, Mobility, Flexibility (RMF) week. You all put in maximal effort day in and day out in order to take leaps and bounds towards your fitness goals.

That says a lot about you when day in and day out we are bombarded with quick fix marketing claims to weight loss giving people the impression that it's easy.

As you know its anything but easy. My team and I have been observing, taking note and masterminding with other fitness professionals on every aspect of fitness. The out come, well there were many, in this case I introduce the very first Recovery, Mobility, and Flexibility Week!

The RMF Week is designed to compliment the high intensity interval training that our campers are performing. We really took a long hard look at how hard everyone was working and began to see some trends. Strength was increasing, Big Time that's awesome! Fat loss dropping like its hot. Members having to buy new clothes because inches are disappearing. These are all great things.

On the flip side we are seeing some general fatigue. About six months ago we implemented SMR with the use of foam rolling and tennis balls and this made a HUGE difference in the warm-up, recovery, over use areas, muscle imbalances and total tissue quality of our members. This helped a lot!

The Recovery Mobility Flexibility Week is designed to compliment the high intensity interval training that our campers are performing. We really took a long hard look at how hard everyone was working and began to see some trends. Strength, Fat Loss, Inches lost, but also some fatigue and small minor injuries that nothing more than a weekend or an extra day off would mask.

So this week is designed to really dial in the recovery, increase mobility, and optimize your flexibility!

Recovery

Our goal is to workout all of the adhesion in your muscles that may be preventing optimal muscle performance. As we target before each class we will be diving deeper into Self-Myofacial Release (SMR). Using tennis balls and foam rollers we will restore your tissue to an optimal state so that it is not interfering with the mobility and flexibility.

Mobility

A simple 10% loss of frontal plane motion can cause 30-40% loss in the sagital plane of motion in the same joint. Mobilizing these major joints will play an integral roll in the complete function of your life day in and day out.

Flexibility

Just a piece of any muscle imbalance puzzle tight muscles will prevent optimal range of motion and correct posture. Most people that are tight assume they will always be tight. I feel that there hasn't been enough consistency in regards to flexibility to make a lasting difference.

I an anxiously awaiting the next RMF week. If you have ever been tight, sore, injured the you are about to receive some priceless content. The information and education we have waiting to pour out on you will change the way you move, feel, and function and will have a huge impact on your day to day. This is not a week you want to skip out on.

We look forward to seeing you at the next Recovery Mobility Flexibility week!
