A Week You Can't Afford To Miss

I am super excited about this Recovery, Mobility, Flexibility (RMF) week. You all put in maximal effort day in and day out in order to take leaps and bounds towards your fitness goals.

That says a lot about you when day in and day out we are bombarded with quick fix marketing claims to weight loss giving people the impression that it's easy.

As you know its anything but easy. My team and I have been observing, taking note and masterminding with other fitness professionals on every aspect of fitness. The out come, well there were many, in this case I introduce the very first Recovery, Mobility, and Flexibility Week!

The RMF Week is designed to compliment the high intensity interval training that our campers are performing. We really took a long hard look at how hard everyone was working and began to see some trends. Strength was increasing, Big Time that's awesome! Fat loss dropping like its hot. Members having to buy new clothes because inches are disappearing. These are all great things.

On the flip side we are seeing some general fatigue. About six months ago we implemented SMR with the use of foam rolling and tennis balls and this made a HUGE difference in the warm-up, recovery, over use areas, muscle imbalances and total tissue quality of our members. This helped a lot!

Remember Your Past

Hey there Fit Soldiers,

Hope you had an awesome weekend, and you stayed active.  This past weekend I took a look back into memory lane.  A not too distant and pretty sad and humbling memory lane.  Spring 2009 I was training, or trying to train for THE Boston Marathon.  So as I have been training others for their first and for my second qualifier I was reminded of my marathon past.

We Seem To Be Lost

Good Day Team!

As a culture we seem to be struggling with a great big loss in our lives.  Each day we wake up and go through the routine.  Whether that be work, workout, school, what have you.  But we are missing the big picture.  Why.  Why do you get up each day and do the same thing over and over.  Why do we expect different results.  This picture and the video to follow give us and idea about what our daily motivation should be like.
